• Security software architecture : MathEmbedded can help to architect or re-architect your Linux software system for maximum security. This may be necessary to meet DRM Robustness Requirements or to comply with CA vendor requirements. This service will improve security, decrease time-to-market and avoid costly delays at the end of a project when security has been ignored and needs to be retro-fitted (although we can help here too!).
• Linux hardening : We are experts at increasing the security of Linux systems (including Android) to make them more resistant to attack or compromise. Again, this may be a mandatory requirement from DRM or CA providers or just a desire to prevent brand damage. With extensive experience in this area we can save you time and money.
• Chipset security hardware support : With many years of designing, developing and supporting hardware security systems on SoCs in both hardware and software, MathEmbedded can support and advise you on how to quickly and pragmatically implement your required security scheme. This can save considerable time, effort and money. We are familiar with the security hardware on all modern set-top-box and mobile SoCs including STMicroelectronics, Broadcom, etc. and have many years of experience in this area with countless products brought to production and supported in the field afterwards.
• System security auditing : MathEmbedded can perform penetration testing of embedded Linux systems to look for security flaws and can even perform code-level security reviews. This can help to prevent embarrassing and increasingly public disclosures of attacks which can damage the reputation of your business.
• DRM : We can provide software development effort to securely implement existing or proprietary DRM schemes based on years of experience with both pure software solutions and solutions using a hardware component such as a hardware cryptographic key manager.
